There is heavy emphasis on watchdog journalism. This is a high-visibility team because covering the military is one of The Virginian-Pilot's most critical missions. Must have a bachelor's degree and five years reporting experience at a daily newspaper. Solid experience covering the military for a daily newspaper preferred.
