Freelance Writing Opportunity

The AUSA is seeking freelance journalists to write stories for its web site and distribution to its media contact list on various events at the organization's annual convention in Washington, D.C., Oct. 6-8. Daily newspaper writing experience and prior coverage of the military or the business side of defense issues are preferred. Candidates must be able to produce 300-600 word stories on a tight deadline. Stories may later be used in the AUSA's newsletter and monthly newspaper. Pay is $40 or more per hour.
